I was aware of the outcome but hadn't read the full judgment until encouraged to do so by this excellent summary. Paragraph 19 should be sufficient to scuttle the reputation of Garden Court Chambers; I don't think I've ever read a more damning account of incompetence. As for Stonewall, employing harassment, intimidation and threats to promote its ideology not only invalidates that ideology, but is also surely incompatible with continuing charitable status.

I am glad I inspired you to read the judgment! It took me about two hours... when I finished it was 1.30am but I hadn't noticed the time passing. Someone has to make a film about this. It would be gripping.

Thanks for doing this Sarah. It feels surreal to have it all there, in black and white, and yet the TRA numpties are still bouncing around Twitter convinced that Stonewall won.

They successfully resisted a claim in the Tribunal. The price they paid for this was the widespread revelation of yet more of their shady practices and malign influence. Anyone who calls this a ‘victory’ is delusional.

Stonewall is now in serious trouble because Boards aren’t full of TRAs, they are full of risk averse and finance focussed people. Seeing Stonewall’s skiddy underpants displayed for the public will lead to an exodus I suspect 😃

Nancy Kelley was handed a poisoned chalice. But she ran with it.

Not only ran with it! She shinned up the drainpipe like a rat 🐀. Is it also Nancy who transed her child?

No, that was Susie Green of Mermaids. Whose 16th birthday present to her son, was to have him castrated. Rather that than a gay son! Hopefully Mermaids are next to fall.

Thank you. So many highlights. Hats off to the Judge for wrestling all that into a pretty coherent judgment.

The Bad Law Project concern me. Some very obnoxious and downright odious characters. They seem to be getting overly excited about their reach and are using ‘freedom of speech’ to actually close discussion that opposes their dangerously far-right and conspiracy theorist positions.
