We pay the police forces wages and they work for us - all of us. Surely it's time to stop being perplexed and get angry?

Boy, do we need a political party that listens to and speaks for women! None of the left of centre ones are up to the task and while the Conservatives do allow women to speak and to have power, the politics of those women is right wing. Left wing women have to step up and start one up! Otherwise we have no voice, because the Left as it stands now doesn't give one hoot, let alone two.

If you think I am not angry then - with the greatest of respect - you are not paying attention.

Apologies Sarah.

I still think that we are all (as women) are too surprised and too questioning. The facts are that the left wing is as sexist and sometimes as misogynist as the right and this trans movement has proved it beyond any doubt. Lets get over it and just leave, start our own political parties and vote the f**kers out.

I am very angry most of the time. But also I know that people tend to switch off from angry women. So I also aim to be strategic. But anyone who is not angry is not paying attention!

Completely agree with this Sarah. You have every right to be angry. Absolutely stunned and equally appalled that this is a space for anyone to be so contemptuous. What an age we find ourselves in as WOMEN in the name of ideological imbalance!

Brilliant. This will make a great speech if that's what you're aiming for. I was surprised to see the same meme here that was sent to me on Twitter recently (the anime figure with a gun). I reported it to Twitter but they said it wasn't a violent threat?!?! Anyway, thanks for all the work you do on this issue.

Where have I EVER 'degraded, dehumanised or debased' ANY child, let alone ANY LGBT child? What appalling nonsense. So you say its OK to target me on the basis of this lie? I have no interest whatsover in where you live. That's the difference between you and me. You can disagree with me - even insult me - without me wanting to hunt you down and hurt you.

Try and separate the different issues: there are gender-nonconforming kids who are potentially LGB. They need nothing but support to be themselves, not to feel they have to conform with gender, which is just based on regressive stereotypes about appropriate dress, toys or behaviour.

There are NO trans kids who need to be put on a pathway to lifelong opposite-sex drug use, or cosmetic surgery, simply because their parents are homophobic (like the husband of CEO of ‘Mermaids.’ Leave the youngsters alone to play how they like, you groomer.

Simple question - where is the evidence for your claims? Saying that one doesn’t accept that people can change sex and that women deserve male free spaces etc is NOT degrading or dehumanising to anyone. It is recognising our bodies have a material effect on our lives and seeks to balance competing claims to rights.
