Two years of 'investigation' over some perfectly and reasonable critical images and articles.

Sounds like something different to me - Something one may have heard rumours about in eastern Europe, pre-1989 perhaps...

But no, this is 2022 and the morally bankrupt and hideously sinister tendrils of the GenderStasi out in full force... again.

For now, at least.

Thank you to the 'SW' and to Sarah and the team for not taking this dreadful, targeted authoritarianism lying down.

SWE is overseen by the Professional Standards Authority. In theory, in its yearly report Ito Parliament, the PSA should be noting this case and grading the fitness-to-practice hearing provision as, at the very least, needing improvement, and reasonably, not-fit-for-purpose.

If an Employment Tribunal hearing brings SWE’s activities under more public scrutiny, the PSA will struggle to report favourably on SWE without risking its own position.

Whether the Government could-be-bothered is a different matter. The PSA is effectively answerable to the Privy Council and the Lord President of the Privy Council is…Penny Mordaunt, who doesn’t have a fine reputation for being supportive of women-and-children’s safeguarding which is a core requirement for social work.

But there would be every possibility that this case would trigger a reform of SWE.

Thank you. A very interesting comment. Sadly I think you are right about not relying on politicians to sort this out. But maybe the costs of continued court actions might prompt a re-think at a high level?

Congratulations on winning the case and highlighting the disgraceful actions of SWE.

Social Work England seem to be rather confused about their legal duties and the Equality Act:

Social work is an immensely difficult job. As a tax payer I don’t want to pay salaries of workplace activists and managers who don’t understand the laws they are meant to work within

That poor lassie is being subjected to 'Cruel & Unusual' punishment! I hope she sues them!

It can no longer stand this 'We are Inclusive' nonsense when they are completely one sided. It is verging on 'religious bias'. 'Believe in my god and only my god...or else'.

If a SW client expresses same views as this lassie, would SWE strike them off their client list?

I am very sure that SW would not work any less hard for a Trans client no matter her belief, the way things are going any one of her clients could decide to trans tomorrow & they would not be less served by her. There is a line that must not be crossed - just don't say your beliefs out loud in case is hurts someones feelings. You could be standing at a Taxi Q chatting to a pal, and some eavesdropper call the police on you because of what they heard you say! Sooner we reverse this game the better.

I wish your client success & compensation & peace as soon as possible..this mental torture must end.. for all of us!
