Well written post that clarifies this judgement.

From my perspective this is a welcome judgement that, as it focuses on the child’s wellbeing, differs from others that have been reported where the focus seems to be mission creep driven by pressure from ideological groups who wish to “get ahead of the legislation” and affirm medicalisation of children where it is not in their best interest.

Thank you Sarah. As a solicitor of over 40 years’ experience in the defence of professional negligence claims, I have been astounded at the egregiously negligent practices adopted by these medical practitioners. It beggars belief. I sincerely hope this judgment is the beginning of the unraveling of this shocking scandal. Those poor children.
