Not this complete nonsense again. Twitter's algo really doesn't understand metaphor or irony. Fingers crossed you will be back soon.

You go, girl. Keep fucking around, and let's hope the joyless tyrants get what's coming to them in the process.

This is crazy. I reported a tweet for saying that trans people should arm themselves against terfs and twitter told me they hadn't broke any rules!

And yet comments from trans-identified men with weapons and "kill the TERF" or "I punch TERFs" are allowed to stand....

Do we know if reporting these posts since Musk took over is still ignored?

Oh please. Anyone with a grain of common sense realizes what she said is a metaphor. Mermaids is a vile organization and there needs to be legal repercussions for the harms they've done. Nobody is literally calling for anyone to be beheaded.

I was suspended once for q few days for using the phrase ’knock yourself out’!

I was admonished about the dangers of advocating ‘self-harm’ 😂

😂 That's so funny! I wonder what the metaphor-challenged would make of "Fill yer boots!" 😂

With you all the way, Sarah. If it wasn’t for people like yourself leading the push back against this ridiculous ideology we would effectively be living in an Orwellian state.

Steve should stick to writing fan fiction. He excels at being melodramatic. I was going to say that fan fiction doesn't usually destroy people's lives, but the entire modern "trans" mess is one bad fan fiction of people trying to force others to believe the lie that people can change their sex.

Dear Sarah, I do admire you (and Joanna Cherry as well). Please do stay strong and stick to the truth as you have done. Wishing you rude health and lots of energy to fight this grotesque nonsense. Many - I suspect most - people agree with you but don't have the guts or the opportunity to speak up...

People need to stop using Twitter. It’s a grooming ground for paedophiles, autogynephiles, child mutilators (Dr Teetus Deletus) and other crazies. Strong and gender critical voices have systematically been cancelled from it while pictures of guns, nooses, along with threats of what these people would like to do to us, are allowed to remain. A cesspit we should turn our backs on.

It is also where politicians and other people with power and influence hang out and, like it or not, journalists pay attention to what trends on Twitter. If we turn our backs on the public square and retreat to echo chambers we cannot complain if our voices are not heard.

How can they even think what Sarah said is worth banning her over and then let the horrific, violent, and disgusting threat tweets hurled at her and others like JKR stand unchallenged? Total hypocrisy. Why are they not held to account? I was on Twitter for a while and am off it permanently now, by choice. I know it's a forum some people value, but I couldn't stand it after a while. Though I do understand people with more important things to say than I wanting to stay on Twitter. Shame on them for still suspending people, thought those days were over. Same old same old, even with Elon Musk at the helm?

Oh no! I understand that to mean that Mermaids wants me to kill myself!

(That reading would make as much sense as understanding that Sarah was calling for Mermaids staff, volunteers and Trustees to be decapitated.)
