Well, I just heard from a young new trans widow living in Terf Island, who was just told by the police that the physical assault and rape she reported her crossdressing ex committed (while an infant was in the home--she had to run outside barefoot with the baby) that the police came to her parents' place, where she now lives, to say they will not follow up with charges. She has physical evidence. If anyone over there has information on an attorney willing to take this case, this could be a big deal. She'd need security. In my data on 53 trans widows, fully 1/3 have been sexually assaulted, and I was counting this rape as the only one of 5 that was reported. She's at her wit's end, worrying about the next woman he assaults. uteheggengrasswidow.wordpress.com, contact form. Link

I've been saying that Blanchard and his crowd should have gotten funding for separate and independent studies of the wives & children of the crossdressing men, as they were setting up the pathways of 2 years crossdressing full time, keeping a job and seemingly stable life, for the holy grail surgeon letter. These dudes have never been honest with the psychologists about what they are actually up to. What I've got collected so far is a shocking level of alcoholism, illegal drug use, use of prostitutes, irresponsible spending of funds earmarked for children's needs, and actual violence committed, both physical and sexual, on their wives before we leave. I experienced mere narcissistic put downs and poverty. If the we trans widows had a voice, there would have been more balance in the very diagnosis of "transsexualism." My ex-husband's diagnosing sexologist actually accused me of "forcing" (her word) him to "decide to live full-time as female" by my insistence the marriage was over. I was too isolated 25 years ago to make any announcements to the world that we do not invite the Neddies of the universe into our sisterhood. We don't, in general. I see "acceptance" as virtue signaling of card-carrying Leftists. I understand the sex terms debate, but women just needed the very opportunity to say we don't accept you. Blanchard's quote, "Oh, the wives don't like it." What Ray needs to understand is a too large percentage of these dudes rape. No we "don't like it."

Thank-you for this piece. I wish I'd seen your "Space" and listened in, but Twitter is very hit and miss about surfacing things I'm interested in.

Its been recorded - hopefully in the link in the piece, so if you have a spare hour and 7 minutes, do listen! It's less painful than the first one as I am gradually getting the hang of this.

I just hope I get better at the technical side - I have great equipment thanks to Liberty Fund & TalkTV but figuring out how to use it all without a producer to help me is...interesting.

I've read several things you have written the only thing I would like to point out is many times you seem to come in with your arguments with bias. Sometimes taking a step back looking at all sides helps with better writing. I'm not referencing this story and not saying you are a bad writer in fact i'd say your very good just noticed it's easy to make it so type of writing the nose causes the tail.

"There was a man who sat each day looking out through a narrow vertical opening where a single board had been removed from a tall wooden fence. Each day a wild ass of the desert passed outside the fence and across the narrow opening—first the nose, then the head, the forelegs, the long brown back, the hindlegs, and lastly the tail. One day, the man leaped to his feet with the light of discovery in his eyes and he shouted for all who could hear him: “It is obvious! The nose causes the tail! -Frank Herbert, Heretics of Dune"

With the greatest of respect, if my beliefs accord entirely with a court judgment, then I am entitled to parade them as correct, without being reasonably or fairly accused of 'bias'.
