Fantastic!!! I particularly love that the BSB trawled through EW’s viscous posts which undermines his claim to be a powerless victim in this. It’s annoying the decision uses trans terms like “deadname” and “misgender” uncritically but otherwise it’s a very big kick in balls for Euan Wedell, Jolyon Maugham and the GLP 👏.

Oh, do two wrongs make a right now?

Sarah Phillimore's avatar

? No. But a man who claims to be a delicate and vulnerable victim of unkind words, yet at the same time urges violence on women in crude terms, torpedoes his own credibility.

Sarah

You can safely ignore Gabriel, he's an ideologically captured child and hopelessly out of his depth amongst adults and good faith players. He has form and routinely blocks anyone who shows the temerity to disagree with his luxury views.

Sarah Phillimore's avatar

Sadly he will not block me but keeps turning up, in the apparent hope that his childish insults and non sequiturs will prompt some Damascene conversion.

Bren Tierney's avatar

All Gabriel has is rote-learnt t-shirt slogan rhetoric, fridge magnet philosophy and the stunted anti-science lexicon of the gender cult. He's mostly harmless, if entirely tedious.

Sarah Phillimore's avatar

I would love to know what he hopes to achieve from the repeated one note comments he leaves on nearly all my posts.

So pleased for you, - wonderful letter from BSB.

A very satisfying read. Thank you so much for sticking your neck out. It takes real courage to do so when your career is at risk. I'm just picturing the post-mortem meeting between Sparkles and the fox basher -reminiscent of Dick Dastardly and Muttley at the end of yet another failed race!

Sarah Phillimore's avatar

I highly doubt either have the ability to realise that they now need to reflect

Great outcome. Well deserved. The Good Laugh Project has made a cottage industry out of fleecing naive and ideologically captured suckers out of their money. They all deserved this latest spanking.

Daniel Howard James's avatar

That's no problem, they love a good spanking.

I'm so glad I had finished my coffee when I read their quotes of Weddell's tweets, I can't afford a new laptop.

Thank you Sarah. I hope you know how much you are appreciated.

Sarah Phillimore's avatar

Thank you! Possibly not by some

Congratulations Sarah. Thank you for fighting all these specious charges. Small donation coming your way. Hope you've enjoyed a small celebration also.

Alison's avatar

That lack of appreciation on their part only adds to our enjoyment of your welcome success.

Excellent outcome Sarah, and an excellent letter! Very pleased for you.

Many congratulations on this victory. Your courage is incredible. Just donated to the crowd funder - with gratitude. Years ago, for a short period, I donated to the GLP because I thought they did some good work. When I discovered that they were promoting this harmful agenda I stopped, and they asked me why. I replied politely, saying that I felt that their views on children's and women's safety did not align sufficiently with my own. Their response was also polite but fairly predictable.

Thank you so much for everything you have done x

Thank you very much for your support.

I thought comparison to the stunning and brave Eddie Izzard was the highest compliment possible. We are not worthy, madam.

My guess about the status-conferring power of a professed belief in gender identity ideology is that this theory came from the progressive elite universities of the West. Therefore citing Judith Butler somehow proves that you went to the right schools.

See also post-colonialism, which if you bring up at a north London dinner party is an indicator that you either attended the correct university, or wish you had done.

Sarah Phillimore's avatar

Such a revealing objection! I thought all trans identifying men were brave and stunning! Should have considered it a compliment surely?

Daniel Howard James's avatar

Confession: I have actually seen Eddie naked in real life, during her West End portrayal of Lenny Bruce. It was brave of her, but not all that stunning.

Sarah Phillimore's avatar

Rather brave of you too

Bren Tierney's avatar

... albeit that Izzard is a bloke.

Daniel Howard James's avatar

In those days, Eddie called herself a transvestite.

Bren Tierney's avatar

It doesn't matter how he identified/s, he's a biological male, not a female. Transvestites are, by definition, biological males.

I live in Britain. I have to use a celebrity's preferred pronouns, otherwise I'll have the police knocking on my door.

Brilliant. Much respect for your unflinching resolve.

I’ll get over to that crowdfunder and chip in. Well done, Sarah.

Great start, Sarah.

Sticking with you for the long haul, of course.

The Good Law Project - an excellent example of an Oxymoron.....

Paul Cassidy's avatar

A great outcome, but made somewhat irritating by the BSB’s persistent mis-sexing of Weddell.

Sarah Phillimore's avatar

As long as I am not compelled to follow suit, I will bear it

Congratulations for taking on another of these Trans activists

bullies. I regard them the same as child groomers.

That are heavily invested in trying to lead confused children to a lifestyle that will destroy them physically and mentally

Rabbi Gabriel Kanter-Webber's avatar

And that opinion is based on your being a qualified child and adolescent psychologist is it?

Sarah Phillimore's avatar

I imagine it’s based on his ability to read.

Rabbi Gabriel Kanter-Webber's avatar

To read what? Your blog, based on your qualifications as a child and adolescent psychologist?

Steve Hay's avatar

If the expertise of qualified psychologists had any bearing here all these groomed children would be getting the help they need to lead normal lives. In stead of body burning drugs and barbaric surgory, with well documented results

A good read, thank you. Your satisfaction comes across very nicely and you sound like a proper grown up compared to the immature men you're dealing with.

I do love the writer's entertaining turn of phrase: some laugh-out-loud moments.
